Decero Malbec, Remolinos Vineyard, Agrelo, Mendoza, Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Supple, toasted, succulent.
This single 1050m high Remolinos Vineyard is a special site, which is owned by Decero, and located in the sub-appellation of Agrelo, in Mendoza.
Always succulent, this vintage was 90% oak aged for 14 months in French oak (30% new).
Spicy black plums, wild berries, leather, chocolate, coffee, licorice and vanilla aromas are layered with burlap and roasted herbs. It's supple with juicy black fruit, oak spice and tobacco flavours has a smooth transition and notable structure and balance. Awine for BBQ, hearty proteins and grilled mushrooms.
